AN AFFORDABLE HOUSING SOLUTION

Fortunately, there is an affordable housing option available in Mercer County for the homebound and disabled, low income working persons, retired individuals, veterans, and those discharged from hospitals and other institutions. Escher SRO Project offers subsidized transitional, permanent housing, and social services to all individuals in need of housing, providing a place where residents may live with dignity in a supportive environment.

EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A PLACE THEY CAN CALL THEIR OWN...

...and at the very least, it should be clean and safe. Unfortunately, this is not the case for more than 1,800 homeless people in Mercer County, NJ, many of whom are employed in low-wage jobs but still cannot afford decent housing. All too often the alternative is squatting in an abandoned building, waiting in line to secure a bed for the night at an emergency shelter, or otherwise moving from one temporary housing arrangement to another.

                                                        AMENITIES INCLUDE:

  • Kitchens & bathrooms located strategically throughout the building

  • Convenient on-site laundry room

  • Large community room with cable TV

  • Partially furnished rooms that are cable and telephone ready

  • Lighted parking area

  • Resident gardens and outdoor activity area
